Being a composing pianist, one might expect that most of my works are for solo piano.  Although I do write frequently for my primary instrument, I have made it a personal responsibility to study and write in a plethora of genres from both the common practice period and the modern age. In my work as a composer thus far, some of my completed efforts include: commissions for two stand tunes/big band charts, two movements of a string quartet, a one-movement piano quartet (ad hoc), four movements of a "modern" baroque dance suite for piano, numerous preludes, fugues, and inventions for keyboard, a multitude of pieces for jazz trio/lead sheets, several sonatas for piano, and a commission for an organ divertimento.
